because today is a new day, and I keep chugging and chugging towards a telos I have not yet seen. Mostly because I run the NAJP in Pittsburgh, and just put out a tee shirt line promoting Positivity.

Right now I’m working on…
getting my clothes on your body, and getting posivity into your head.


My most prized possessions is…
My Laptop for sure, its my window to the world.

But I’d give it all away for…

The first thing I do in the morning is…
Yank my sleeping shadez off and stumble around to find my glasses.

Lay it on down and jam on most prized possesion.

The Confluence of Art, Mind, and Positivity

So what exactly is the NAJP?

This is a confluence of art, mind and positivity from our city (Pittsburgh)to our world.

All around us are visual overloads teaching us negativity, bleeding it into our mindsets. The American society is programmed to sit in front of the TV and to consume. We are selling our minds and bodies to hate, lust, greed, gossip and spend all day long looking for the next temporary high.
The New age Jalopy project is a series of uncensored subliminal positive messages artfully concealed in a graffiti-esque uncensored way to slip positivity into the mindsets of people who ordinarily wouldn't look for it.

I want to get people excited about feeling good and focus on fixing the inner attributes that are the real causes of many of the issues facing society i.e suicide, hate crimes, addiction, slander, self-hatred,jealousy, broken homes, child abuse, and heartbreak.

Since I've started this project, I've noticed that promoting positive energy makes everyone feel better and I've noticed immense changes in the people around me who are taking part in this. I am fed up with waiting for the world to change, Change starts with me. Positive energy is a domino effect. Everyone wants to feel good, everyone wants to be loved.

Love has extravagant power. So I'm changing myself, and I hope you join me. I'm going to share a little more, love a little more, care about my neighbors a little more, and try to bite my tongue when I know its better to remain silent. I'm spreading the love and positivity visually. How will you spread it?

pure love casts out fear

The making of last nights piece.

Last night alot of things were accomplished. I started out by cutting two separate ideas out that I felt were important messages for flyers. "I'm starting with me," and "Hey Pittsburgh, think positive." I decided to see what would happen when I meshed the two ideas together and made a few posters to put up around town. I pasted one on the southside and had to hurry home because my friend Kara Sambrick agreed to sit for a portrait(one that was really fun and candy themed-pics soon.)

So I painted her for about an hour and then she set up her tripod to photograph herself so I could finish the portrait later from a picture. She also asked if I wanted her to take a picture of my poster. Absolutely!

So we taped it up on the wall in her garage. I thought it would be cool if I took a marker to it like I was writing on it. Then said, " Wait, I have something EVEN BETTER!!"

She came back with a can of Montana Spray Paint. I held it up and we started shooting some photos of me holding the can.

She entered it into photoshop, then she started to add effects. She asked me to pick a color. Of course, RED!

Thats how this came into fruition. The photo was an awesome collaboration between the two of us. Thats what this the NAJP is about. Its about collaboration to make positivity flourish.

Alone we are nothing, together we take a stand. Together we can change the world to a beautiful positive change.
